WSP Trooper Hurt in Traffic Accident on Interstate 90 [King County, WA]

King County, WA (July 30, 2023) On Saturday morning, a WSP trooper was hurt and hospitalized after a traffic accident on Interstate 90.

According to the WSP, the 2-vehicle collision happened around 3 a.m. on the shoulder of eastbound I-90 near W Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Reports say that the trooped was sitting along the shoulder of the highway, when a driver drifted into the shoulder and crashed into the cruiser.

Officials say that the trooper was rushed to a hospital, the trooper sustained minor injuries due to the crash.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle refused medical treatment, officials say that impairment did not play a part in the crash.

WSP is investigating the 2-vehicle collision.
