HOUSTON, TX (November 26, 2024) – Monday morning, a disastrous wrong-way crash on Interstate 45 North Freeway injured 3.

The crash involving a wrong-way driver and a METRO bus happened at around 9:00 a.m. on Interstate 45 North Freeway northbound at Main.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a driver forcefully bypassed a gate closure and drove the wrong way in the lane.

Two people on the bus were transported to the hospital, while the driver of the car was taken with life-threatening injuries.
