Fatal Pickup Truck Crash on 5 Freeway in Woodland

 
WOODLAND, CA (December 18, 2018) – WOODLAND, CA (December 18, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a traffic accident Tuesday afternoon in Woodland.
 
The crash happened around 12:29 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway at Road 8 off-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck went off the roadway and landed into a field. Fire officials responded to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The pickup truck was towed away from the wreckage.
