WOODLAND, CA – Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Crash on 505 Freeway

Motorcycle and Flatbed Truck Collide on 505 Freeway in Woodland

 
WOODLAND, CA (April 25, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a crash on 505 Freeway Thursday evening, in Woodland.
 
The collision took place around 8:39 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of the highway. Dispatchers arrived to the area near the Highway 16 off-ramp soon after.
 
According to the CHP, a motorcycle and a Ford flatbed truck collided for unknown reasons. The rider consequently sustained injuries as a result, and was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.
 
The extent of injuries and the condition of the rider were not immediately known.
 
Due to several factors remained unclear, the investigation is currently ongoing. More details will eventually be released once available.
