Train and Pedestrian Collision Reported near Avenue 52

 
COACHELLA, CA (November 25, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a train on Grapefruit Boulevard on Monday afternoon.
 
Police did not release much information regarding the accident at this time. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Avenue 52 before 2:00 PM.
 
Reports from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department showed that the woman was declared dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not yet released.
 
Deputies confirmed that there was no foul play in the fatal incident.
