EL CAJON, CA (May 7, 2019) – A woman sustained injuries after a car struck her in a pedestrian accident on 850 Freeway on May 6.
 
Reports revealed that after getting out of her vehicle due to an initial collision, another car struck her.
 
The victim traveled north on 805 Freeway near El Cajon Boulevard when an initial collision involving her occurred. The incident happened around 9:55 a.m., CHP Officer Jim Bettencourt said.
 
Upon the responders’ arrival, they located the woman lying on the southbound side of the road.
 
Medics transported her to Sharp Memorial Hospital in Hillcrest.
