Woman Struck and Killed on 700 East Warner Avenue [Santa Ana, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles Near Delhi Park and the Santa Ana Armory

 
Santa Ana, CA (August 28, 2020) – On Wednesday, a woman died after two vehicles struck her at 700 East Warner Avenue near Delhi Park and the Santa Ana Armory.
 
The Santa Ana Police Department says that about 10:07 p.m. reports of a woman laying down in the roadway at 700 E. Warner Ave.
 
Orange County Fire Authority responders provided emergency treatment to the victim before pronouncing her dead at the scene.
 
Moreover, the initial investigation says that a vehicle is traveling east on Warner Avenue and struck the pedestrian.  The woman was in the roadway at 700 E. Warner Ave.
 
Afterward, the driver exited the vehicle to check on the woman, when suddenly another vehicle accidentally hit the woman prone on the roadway.
 
Furthermore, both responsible were cooperative with the investigators and did not cause any problems.
 
At the moment, speed and intoxication are not factors to the collision.
 
Lastly, the Santa Ana Police Department’s Collision Investigations Unit (CIU) is investigating the incident and are encouraging witnesses to come forward.
