Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Businesspark Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 9, 2020) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a multi-car crash on Carroll Canyon Road on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Businesspark Avenue at approximately 4:20 PM.
Reports from the San Diego Police Department showed that the 45-year-old victim drove her black 2007 Toyota Camry when her car was struck by a 2013 Mercedes-Benz SUV driven by a 28-year-old man. The man ran a red light and caused the collision. After that, the SUV also hit a blue 2008 Honda minivan.
The Camry driver suffered a fractured pelvis and other serious injuries. Paramedics transported her to a hospital for treatment. The drivers of the SUV and the minivan were not injured.
The collision remains under investigation by the San Diego Police Traffic Division.
