Early Morning 3-Car Crash on 110 Freeway in Los Angeles Leads to Major Injuries
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 27, 2019) – A woman was seriously injured following a three-vehicle collision early Monday morning in Los Angeles.
The collision happened around 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of southbound 110 Freeway and westbound 105 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Volkswagen GTI and two other cars collided, one of them overturned from the impact. Debris and vehicle parts were strewn in HOV lane.
A female occupant suffered severed injuries as a result the crash. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
All southbound lanes of 110 Freeway, just North of 105 Freeway were shut down during the rescue and clearing operations.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
