Female Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on 13th Street
Imperial Beach, CA (February 05, 2022) – On Friday, a woman pushing a stroller sustained injuries in a 13th Street accident.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. near Donax Avenue, about a block south of Palm Avenue.
When the officers arrived, the woman was on the ground and a bystander was holding the child.
Luckily, the child did not suffer any injuries from the accident.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed the woman to San Diego hospital with unknown injuries.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the investigators.
When driving, better to scan the road 1/2 mile to a full mile ahead in order to look out or recognize potential hazards in time. Thus, you need to learn to consciously break that natural instinct and focus farther ahead.
