Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash Kills One
Bakersfield, CA (August 12, 2022) – On Thursday, a female pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in an East Panama Lane accident.
It was about 11 p.m. when the deadly accident occurred in the 2300 block area.
Apparently, a vehicle struck the woman while she was walking in an eastbound traffic lane.
Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene while the involved driver stayed and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.
Investigating officers say speed and alcohol did not play a role in the Bakersfield pedestrian crash. They say they are still investigating.
