Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Myrtle Avenue
Monrovia, CA (November 15, 2021) – On Saturday, a woman in her late 60s died in a pedestrian accident on Myrtle Avenue.
It was about 8 a.m. when the accident happened at the intersection with Foothill Boulevard.
Officers said the involved driver turned left from southbound Myrtle Avenue to eastbound Foothill Boulevard. The vehicle was traveling between 5-10 mph when it struck the woman.
The firefighters used specialized equipment to lift the vehicle off the woman. Then, they rushed her to a hospital where she died.
Meanwhile, the authorities are investigating this fatal incident and withheld her identity pending notification of kin.
