57-Year-Old Woman Dead in Sylmar Accident on West Foothill Boulevard
SYLMAR, CA (May 10, 2021) – Sunday night, a woman died in a two-vehicle crash on West Foothill Boulevard.
Los Angeles Fire Department‘s Bryan Humphrey said that the incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. The fatal crash sent two men to trauma centers happened at 16637 W. Foothill Boulevard.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center described the deceased victim as a 57-year-old woman.
Humphrey confirmed that the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the conditions of the two male patients remain undisclosed.
Furthermore, the firefighters utilized hydraulic equipment to free two trapped patients.
Later reports revealed that a 50-year-old man driving northbound at a high rate of speed crossed over the double yellow lines. Thus, he hit the female victim’s vehicle head on.
