1 Dead and 1 Hurt in Riverside Car Accident
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 6, 2019) – A woman died while a truck driver was taken to a hospital following a collision on February 4.
According to Riverside fire officials, bystanders aided to pull two children from the pickup truck wreckage.
The 28-year-old woman was the driver of the Toyota Tundra with the children seated at the back. The woman failed to yield at a stop sign at Lincoln Avenue and Jefferson Street and crashed into the side of a large tractor trailer.
The children were transported to a hospital, and they were listed in moderate condition. Meanwhile, the female driver died at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver was also hurt in the collision and was transported to the hospital.
