22-Year-Old Woman Fatally Shot while Driving near South 114th Street
SEATTLE, WA (September 19, 2018) – A woman was killed late Wednesday evening following a shooting incident on Rainier Avenue South. The identity of the 22-year-old victim was not immediately available.
According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at about 10:22 PM in the 11400 block of Rainier Avenue South, near South 114th Street. A person inside a southbound black or a dark-colored sedan shot the victim in the head while she was driving.
After the incident, the woman’s vehicle veered across the center line, sideswiped a car, and slammed into another vehicle before coming to a rest.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported by responding officers.
Meanwhile, the search for the suspect vehicle continues.
