LOMITA, CA (July 22, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on Lomita Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The incident happened just after 4:40 a.m., said Lt. Robert Weber. According to reports, a woman in her 60s tried to walk across Lomita Boulevard. Then, a vehicle struck and killed her.
After the crash, the driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigators.
At this time, the events that have led up to the crash remain under active investigation.
