1 Dead in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Kentucky Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 12, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a pedestrian crash on Kentucky Street killed a woman.
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 5:46 a.m. Moreover, it happened at the 1400 block of Kentucky Street.
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck a female pedestrian walking in the roadway outside a marked crosswalk.
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the vehicle driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities. Also, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Meanwhile, officers said that the Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim at a later time.
