Female Pedestrian Dies after Accident on Village Drive
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 2, 2019) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Village Drive late Friday night.
Based on an initial report, an unknown vehicle struck a seemingly young woman who was carrying a white blanket. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 11:00 PM. In addition, police stated it occurred between Blue Canyon Road and Oceanside Avenue.
Occupants of the vehicle made a call to the 911. As a result, the Victorville Fire Department and AMR responded. Paramedics performed CPR while transporting the woman to the hospital. However, the victim died due to severe injuries. Her identity was not released.
The roads were closed for several hours for an investigation.
