PHOENIX, AZ (January 4, 2021) – Friday morning, a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 17 and Loop 303.
 
The Arizona Department of Public Safety revealed that the crash occurred just after 2:00 a.m. According to reports, a woman kept running back and forth on southbound Interstate 17.
 
Then, a vehicle eventually hit her. As a result, she was declared dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver didn’t show signs of impairment. Thus, the authorities arrested the vehicle driver,
 
Also, the incident shut down southbound Interstate 17 at Loop 303. However, all the traffic lanes have since reopened.
 
The fatal pedestrian accident on Interstate 17 remains under active investigation.
