1 Dead in Redding Pedestrian Crash on C Street near Fifth Street
REDDING, CA (October 18, 2021) – Saturday night, a woman died in a pedestrian accident on C Street near Fifth Street.
The crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m. on C Street near Fifth Street. According to reports, two women stood on the west shoulder of the road. They stood next to a parked vehicle that had a door open. Then, a pickup hit them.
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located both women down the road. Then, responders declared one of the deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, they took the other patient to Mercy Medical Center in Redding with serious injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the two women or the driver.
Furthermore, the officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
