Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Broadway Road [Mesa, AZ]

Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Accident near Ellsworth Road

 
MESA, AZ (December 10, 2019) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Broadway Road on Tuesday evening.
 
According to the police, the incident occurred at approximately 7:45 PM near Ellsworth Road.
 
Reports from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office showed that an unidentified car struck the victim. However, it is not clear if the incident occurred at a crosswalk.
 
The woman was declared dead at the scene. However, her identity is not yet released.
 
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with an investigation. MCSO did not immediately know if speed or impairment were factors in the collision.
