San Diego Motorcycle Crash near Severin Drive Kills El Cajon Woman
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 04, 2019) — A 38-year-old woman died in a motorcycle crash near Severin Drive and 8 Freeway Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a report at about 11:20 p.m. An investigation indicated that three people were riding on a 2007 two-wheel Harley-Davidson Sportster at a high speed.
For inexplicable reasons, the person operating the motorcycle lost control, causing it to crash. The force of the impact then ejected all three people from the two-wheeler.
The 38-year-old woman from El Cajon died at the scene. The officers withheld her name pending notification of her family.
The two other motorcycle riders, a man and a woman, remained at the scene briefly. However, they fled on foot before law enforcement arrived.
The descriptions of the man or the woman were not immediately available. The authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to call the CHP El Cajon office at 619-401-2000.
