22-Year-Old Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Memorial Drive [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (September 13, 2024) – A 22-year-old woman was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash on Memorial Drive Wednesday night.

It was just minutes before 9 p.m. when the deadly crash happened near S Piney Point Road.

Investigating officers said a Subaru driver was westbound on Memorial told when he saw the motorcyclist in the eastbound lanes. He thought he had enough time to make a left turn to Piney Point Road.

However, motorcyclist couldn’t stop in time and crashed into the Subaru.

Immediately, the female rider was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital by Life Flight but she died.

The HPD and the Memorial Villages Police Department is investigating the fatal crash on Memorial Drive.
