Angelica Medina Arrested After Crash on East Travis Boulevard in Fairfield

Fairfield, CA (October 3, 2024) – On Wednesday, a woman died in a crash on East Travis Boulevard.

The Fairfield Police Department is currently investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred within the past day. 

The incident took place around 11 p.m. on Wednesday when a woman crossing East Travis Boulevard at Kidder Avenue was struck by a westbound pickup truck.

Police officers arrived at the scene less than a minute after the crash and immediately began administering CPR, but the woman was pronounced dead on-site.

The driver, identified as 44-year-old Angelica Medina from Suisun, was stopped by authorities. 

According to police, Medina was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident and was arrested for vehicular manslaughter.
