Hit-and-Run Crash on 106th Street Left Woman Dead, Suspect at Large
Los Angeles, CA (October 8, 2020) – On Thursday, a woman was found lying dead from a hit-and-run crash on 106th Street and Avalon Boulevard.
The woman was discovered just after 4:30 a.m. in a street in South Los Angeles, said Los Angeles police.
A woman walking in the area saw the victim lying in the middle of the road and called 911, the police added.
When the authorities arrived, they pronounced the victim dead on the scene. They withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of kin.
Further, investigators believe she may have been killed in a hit-and-run accident, police said. There was no information on whether authorities obtained surveillance video or if there is a description of the suspect or their car. Authorities are now searching for the hit-and-run suspect driver.
