1 Dead in Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99 near Fresno Street
FRESNO, CA (January 10, 2021) – Saturday morning, a woman died in a hit-and-run accident on Highway 99 near Fresno Street.
The Fresno Highway Patrol officers received a report of the incident at about 1:30 a.m. According to the report, a person was down on the shoulder of northbound Highway 99 near Fresno Street.
Moreover, the authorities confirmed that she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, the investigators said that the woman walked along the beginning of the off-ramp near Fresno Street. Then, the driver of an unknown vehicle hit her. Unfortunately, the driver failed to stop and help the woman without calling the authorities.
