TULARE COUNTY, CA (October 25, 2019) – A woman died in a head-on crash near Akers Street on October 24 in Tulare County.
 
The early morning head-on crash occurred about 5:00 a.m. near Akers Street and Avenue 272.
 
According to the CHP, the Lexus driver died in the head-on crash with the semi-truck driver. Reports revealed that the semi’s driver remained at the scene.
 
The cause of the collision remains unknown as of this time. The crews are still clearing the scene from debris.
 
Authorities advised motorists to use alternate routes instead.
