One Killed in Car-SUV Collision on Foothill Freeway at Grand Avenue
GLENDORA, CA (June 3, 2018) – One person was killed in a fiery crash on 210 Freeway, also known as Foothill Freeway, early Sunday morning.
The collision between a red sedan and a black SUV was reported at 7:41 AM in the eastbound lanes of the 210 Highway at Grand Avenue, according to Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol. The black SUV became fully engulfed in flames, and one person, believed to be a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:55 PM.
It was not immediately confirmed which car the victim was in.
A SigAlert was issued at around 8:00 AM, causing the shutdown of all lanes except the eastbound carpool lane. Most of the freeway was passable at around 10:30 PM. No additional information is available to the public at this time.
