Fresno, CA (March 4, 2023) – On Thursday afternoon, a deadly traffic accident on Highway 99 claimed the life of a female pedestrian.

Authorities say that the vehicle-pedestrian crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. in the area of Golden State and San Benito, near Highway 99.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck a woman who allegedly walked in front of the vehicle. Officials have not released any additional details about the victim.
