BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 1, 2022) – Friday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on Taft Highway and Michele Street.
 
The incident happened just before 11:00 p.m. on Taft Highway and Michele Street. According to reports, a vehicle struck and killed a female pedestrian.
 
When the Bakersfield police arrived, they found an unresponsive woman on the road. Then, they declared her dead at the scene. However, her identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
