FONTANA, CA (August 10, 2022) – Sunday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash near Sierra Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at around 11:55 p.m. near Sierra Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the woman crossed the westbound lanes of Foothill, east of Sierra, outside of the crosswalk. As a result, a green 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driving west on Foothill Boulevard hit her.
 
Officers confirmed that the driver and two passengers sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the victim to Kaiser Hospital via AMR. Then, she later succumbed to her injuries on Aug. 8 at 12:21 a.m.
 
Also, the Fontana P.D.’s Major Accident Investigation Team handles the crash investigation.
