1 Dead in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Rosecrans Street near Hancock Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 22, 2022) – Sunday night, a 61-year-old woman died in a pedestrian crash on Rosecrans Street near Hancock Street.
The incident happened at about 10:00 p.m. on Rosecrans Street near Hancock Street.
According to reports, a car struck the woman as she crossed Rosecrans Street. The incident happened while the woman tried to “scoot” across a road in the Midway District.
Meanwhile, the 53-year-old male vehicle driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigators. According to him, he didn’t notice the woman in the road when he drove over her.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. Her identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
