1 Dead and 2 Injured in Madera County Three-Vehicle Accident on Road 27 and Avenue 17
MADERA COUNTY, CA (February 10, 2022) – Wednesday night, a woman died in a head-on crash on Road 27 and Avenue 17.
According to reports, the three-vehicle crash occurred at around 6:15 p.m. Moreover, it happened on Road 27 and Avenue 17.
When the authorities arrived, they clarified that the crash involved three vehicles. The authorities said that a driver of a Chrysler 300 headed north on Road 27. Then, it abruptly turned left westbound onto Avenue 17.
Afterward, the Chrysler clipped a 25-year-old mother driving a southbound black Nissan Rogue. As the woman tried to avoid a full-on crash with the Chrysler, the Rogue veered. However, the Rogue driver lost control as it went in an easterly direction. Eventually, it collided head-on with a Ford F-350 pulling a trailer northbound on Road 27.
After the crash, the Rogue driver died at the scene. Meanwhile, her husband sitting in the right front seat and her 12-year-old daughter in the back suffered major injuries.
Responders airlifted the man to Community Regional Medical Center. Meanwhile, an ambulance transported the girl to Valley Children’s Healthcare.
