1 Dead in Fresno County Auto Accident on Manning Avenue and Clovis Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 1, 2022) – Monday night, a woman died in a traffic crash on Manning Avenue and Clovis Avenue.
The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on Manning Avenue and Clovis Avenue.
According to CHP Spokesman Mike Salas, a Toyota Corolla driver headed west on Manning Avenue. As the Toyota approached Clovis Avenue, a Honda Odyssey pulled out of a vineyard adjacent to the roadway.
Reports said that the Honda tried to go southbound. However, the Corolla broadsided the Honda.
As a result, responders took the female driver of the Honda in her 40s to a nearby hospital. However, she succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Corolla driver sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Also, the authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
