DESSERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (October 16, 2022) – Saturday morning, a Cathedral City woman died in a crash on Indian Canyon Drive and Mission Lakes Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Indian Canyon Drive and Mission Lakes Boulevard. According to reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the northbound traffic lane of Indian Canyon Drive.
 
According to reports, the driver of a green Chrysler headed north on Indian Canyon Drive, past Mission Lakes Boulevard. Then, the driver noticed the pedestrian in the middle of the roadway. Thus, he attempted to make evasive maneuvers but he failed and struck the pedestrian.
 
After the crash, the driver stopped and contacted 911. Meanwhile, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene. Also, the driver sustained minor injuries.
