MERCED COUNTY, CA (February 24, 2022) – Wednesday night, a woman died in a head-on crash on Highway 99 and Le Grand Road.
 
The incident happened at about 7:40 p.m. on Highway 99 ad Le Grand Road. According to reports, a truck and a car collided head-on.
 
When the authorities arrived, they located a driver who had been ejected from her vehicle. Then, they declared that woman dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders airlifted the truck driver with major injuries to a local hospital.
