KINGS COUNTY, CA (May 5, 2022) – Tuesday night, a woman died in a crash on Avenal Cutoff Road near 25th Avenue.
 
The incident happened when the woman drove south on Avenal Cutoff Road near 25th Avenue. Then, she attempted to make a three-point turn.
 
Afterward, an oncoming big rig headed north on Avenal Cuttoff Road struck the woman’s Lexus as she turned.
 
Eventually, the car struck another semi-truck that had stopped in the southbound lane while the Lexus turned.
 
Then, responders airlifted the woman to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. However, she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
Meanwhile, both big rig drivers suffered no injuries.
