1 Dead in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road
PHOENIX, AZ (April 17, 2022) – Saturday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road.
The incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road. According to reports, a northbound pickup truck on 51st Avenue struck a woman as she crossed the avenue mid-block.
After the crash, responders took the woman to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
At this time, her identity remains undisclosed but officers confirmed that she’s in her early 20s.
Meanwhile, the pickup driver stayed at the scene and didn’t show signs of impairment.
Furthermore, the driver suffered no injuries in the crash.
