68-Year-Old Woman Killed in Motorcycle Collision on West Hills Parkway [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (October 23, 2023) – A 68-year-old woman was killed and a 65-year-old man was injured following a motorcycle collision on West Hills Parkway Saturday night.

This fatal collision unfolded at about 7:30 p.m. in the 8400 block area in the Tierrasanta community.

Investigators said that a 33-year-old man driving a southbound Honda in the No. 1 lane allowed the car to merge into the No. 2 lane and ear-ended the motorcycle driven by a 65-year-old man.

The Honda driver fled southbound on West Hills Parkway.

Immediately, the medical team transported the 65-year-old male motorcycle driver to a hospital. The 68-year-old passenger was rushed to a hospital where she later died.

San Diego police ask anyone with further details about this collision to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.

Officers believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
