LOS ANGELES, CA (January 6, 2019) – On Sunday around 11:20 PM, a female was stuck and killed by a car in a pedestrian accident on 110 Freeway near Florence Avenue.
 
As per reports, the woman was struck while on the freeway. It is unknown if or why the victim was walking on the freeway.
 
Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident, found the woman down in the lanes and performed CPR. They took over life-saving efforts, but determined the female was deceased at the scene.
 
Authorities stated that the driver who struck the victim remained on the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened.
 
The identity of the victim has not yet been released to the public. There has been no further information regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
