1 Dead in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on S 4th Avenue and E 13th Street
TUCSON, AZ (October 29, 2024) – Sunday morning, a woman died in a brutal pedestrian crash on S 4th Avenue and E 13th Street.
Reports said that the incident occurred just after 3:00 a.m. on South 4th Avenue and East 13th Street.
Tucson police and fire personnel responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. The driver involved left the scene before police arrived. The woman, whose name is being withheld until her family is notified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic Investigation Unit detectives discovered that the woman was struck while in the roadway on South 4th Avenue. She was not in a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing in an area with limited street lighting.
