1 Dead in Azle Pedestrian Accident near Boyd Road and Jacksboro Highway
AZLE, TX (October 30, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a woman died in a brutal pedestrian crash near Boyd Road and Jacksboro Highway.
The incident occurred just after 6:30 a.m. near Boyd Road, just off Jacksboro Highway.
According to the police report, an F-150 was merging onto Boyd Road from NW Parkway when it struck a woman crossing the road.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner once her next of kin are notified.
Azle Police do not anticipate any charges against the driver.
Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
