Woman Injured in Vehicle Crash on Broadway Avenue [Tyler, TX]

Tyler, TX (August 19, 2024) – A woman was injured following a vehicle crash on Broadway Avenue early Sunday morning.

At around 5 a.m. the authorities responded to a report of a suspicious noise believed to be a gunshot at a Whataburger near Beckham Avenue.

When the officers arrived, the suspect fled in a truck. The pursuit stopped after the suspect’s truck has hit another vehicle occupied by an elderly woman. 

The suspect’s truck rolled before it rested near the intersection with W 1st Street.

The woman incurred serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. 

Moreover, the authorities extracted the suspect from the truck and took them the hospital with minor injuries.

Afterward, the suspect was then taken to jail for booking.
