Woman Hospitalized after Lodi Train Collision on Pine Street
LODI, CA (April 2, 2019) – A transient woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries following a train accident on Thursday, March 28.
According to Lodi Police Sgt. Carlos Fuentes, authorities responded to the train depot on Pine Street after receiving a report that a train struck a woman around 8:09 p.m.
Officers arrived and found a woman complaining of pain in her arm. Fuentes said that she is one of their local transients.
Authorities believed that the woman has stuck her arm out as the train passed. They brought her to a hospital after complaints of pain.
The identity of the woman was not immediately available.
