1 Person Arrested in Houston Auto Accident on Wheeler Avenue and Emancipation Avenue
HOUSTON, TX (February 26, 2023) – On Friday, a woman sustained injuries after a traffic crash on Wheeler Avenue and Emancipation Avenue.
The incident happened near the intersection of Wheeler Avenue and Emancipation Avenue.
According to Lt. R. Willkens, a white Dodge Ram traveling at a high rate of speed refused a traffic stop and sped away. Moments later, the Dodge Ram struck a convertible and several other vehicles, pushing the Dodge on top of four parked vehicles.
Moreover, responders rushed the female driver of the convertible to an area hospital with major injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested the Dodge driver with pending charges.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
