Wapato Vehicle Crash Injures Woman
Wapato, WA (August 24, 2021) – On Monday, a 58-year-old woman suffered injuries in State Route 97 hit-and-run crash.
The traffic crash took place at around 5:45 p.m. near West Wapato Road.
The Washington State Patrol said the woman was a passenger in a southbound car traveling on the freeway.
Officers also said that the vehicle was in slowed down for traffic when it was struck by a blue 2001 Honda Accord.
Emergency crews rushed the woman to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Meanwhile, Tte Honda Accord driver immediately took off after the incident.
The authorities are investigating the State Route 97 hit-and-run crash.
