Driver Injured After Crashing near Valley Road in Arroyo Grande
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (October 08, 2019) — A female driver suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash near Valley Road in Arroyo Grande.
The authorities said the woman was driving at a high rate of speed at the time. She then crashed into a retainer wall near Arroyo Grande High School.
The woman sustained serious injuries in the accident. Emergency responders transported her to the trauma center at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. Two firefighters had to ride in the ambulance according to the Five Cities Fire Authority.
The officials said the woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
