30-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Scooter Collides with Car near Howard Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 23, 2018) – A woman was injured Sunday morning following a scooter accident on 9th Street. The identity of the 30-year-old victim was not immediately released by officials.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident took place at about 8:30 AM near Howard Street. The victim was driving the motorized moped-style scooter when she collided with a vehicle.
The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. Updates on her current medical condition were not disclosed. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators.
