Woman Injured in Rollover Car Accident on Juniper Avenue [Fontana, CA]

FONTANA, CA (February 1, 2019) – On Friday afternoon, one person was injured in a rollover car accident on Juniper Avenue.
 
According to Fontana Police Department, the collision occurred around 4:00 PM near Village Lane.
 
As per reports, a male driver in a Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Juniper Avenue making a left onto Village Lane when a Chevy Malibu attempted to pass him on the left side, colliding with the Corolla and causing the Chevy to roll. The driver of the Corolla came to a complete stop after he crashed into a brick wall.
 
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident. They stated the Malibu driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Her current medical condition is unclear at this time.
 
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
