Thalia Begaye Arrested for Deadly Hit and Run Accident on Central Avenue in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (October 1, 2021) – Early Friday morning, Andreanna Blaine, 37, sustained critical injuries in a rear-end DUI crash on Central Avenue.
The rear-end crash in Phoenix happened at around 2:30 a.m. on October 1.
Phoenix Police said a black sedan was stopped or slowed on Camelback Road when it was rear-ended by a red SUV, driven by Thalia Begaye, in the area of Central Avenue and Camelback Road.
The Sedan driver, Ms. Blaine, sustained severe injuries and paramedics transported her to a hospital in critical condition. She later died as a result of her wounds.
Shortly after, the assailant that rear-ended Blaine fled the scene, but police later found her.
Subsequently, that driver of the red SUV, Begaye, was arrested and processed for impairment (DUI).
Apparently, Thalia J. Begaye drove while intoxicated at 63 MPH at the time of the fatal hit and run.
